TRAP NEUTER RETURN PROGRAM

TNR at Troy’s
The most recent adventure of the AWSBC trapping team took place on Austin Highway between
Troy’s Other Place and the Collision Center next door. Two small colonies of cats are being fed
there and are welcome for their feline friendliness (some not so much!). For a couple of years, the
feeders have thought about getting them fixed. Last month, they contacted the trappers and an
event was scheduled.

The first day of trapping yielded 12 cats, and a follow-up next day produced 4 more.

All were taken to the vet for surgery and vaccinations.

AFTER A RECOVERY PERIOD, THE CATS RETURNED

These cats have a wonderful field to roam and food served twice a day. Now that they will not be
having any more kittens, they can chase mice and enjoy life!
Many thanks go to all the people who have donated to this effort!
