WELCOME TO MARKYS UPDATE! PREVIOUS PAGE

Marky

THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVE, PRAYERS, AND DONATIONS!

Marky saw his vet, Dr. Rachael Smith, for his 2nd follow up on Tuesday, December 29th 2009. She was very pleased with his progress. He actually let her look in his mouth, without squirming and trying to bite her, for the 1st time! The swelling around his mouth is gone. The foul odor is gone! He still has a little redness and swelling in a couple of places in his gums, so he still remains on medication.

What a change, I wish you could see him. Who knew that Marky was an alpha cat?! Who knew that he could have such boundless energy?! He zips around and plays with toys, probably for the very 1st time in his young life. He's mischievous and teases the other cats, and he trills when he can't find his favorite soft, rubber balls, which he loves to flip in the air and catch.

This once 6-1/2 pounds of miserable, sickly cat, is now a happy, playful 9 pounds of pure Kitten! He does love to eat and we're happy to accommodate him. What a joy it is to watch him. There are no words to express the thanks to all of the caring people, who helped pay for his surgery. His friends, Tumbleweed and Blossom are on medication to build them up for their surgeries. They should be ready for their surgeries in several weeks. And, 2 kitties that need leg surgeries. There will be updates on all of them, as their treatments start.

Marky's Legacy Fund will help pay for them all.

God Bless each and every one of you, and Marky and his friends hope that you had a wonderful Holiday Season. All of us at AWSBC wish you all a Truly Happy New Year.

From Two very grateful foster parents and all of ASWBC
